Hello!

I'm thinking on making a upgrade to my machine. At the moment I have an i5 4430s 2.7 ghz and I want to upgrade it, but still dont want to waste alot of money. So I saw the 3600X , is it worth it the swap?

I want to know which DDR4 you can recommend to me. For quality/price

For the motherboard I saw this one: B450 GAMING PLUS MAX, which is not released yet, but it will soon, and already supports the 3000x series. But if you have another choice, write it down below to me.

Thanks.

Depending on what games/settings you play at the 3600 should provide a fairly substantial boost, although maybe not always a huge one. But you may not always be able to take full advantage of that extra performance with a 60 Hz monitor.

Are you currently able to maintain 60+ FPS in the games you play? Your 980 Ti should be capable of 60+ FPS at 1080p/high settings in just about any game, so if you're not getting that then that's an indication that your CPU is holding you back.

But if you're already getting 60 fps in games then I'd question the need for an upgrade.

I believe the CPU is holding me back, some newer games the CPU is running at 100 percent and the GPU is not. So it's a bottleneck, i5 4430s is not a strong CPU and its already a couple of years old. What do you think? Is it worth an upgrade to the 3600 one?

Well, "worth it" is something only you can decide for yourself. But yes, I'd generally say it'd be a good upgrade.

Example upgrade:

If you need a microATX board, you can go with something like the MSI B450M Gaming Plus.

Then, can you recommend me a good monitor for the price aswell? @theonerm2
Where are you from?

IDK if you're from UK or not but here is what I recommend.
