[SOLVED] Ryzen 3700x/3800x or i9 9900KF for gaming and streaming?

I need opinions on what to choose from this little list. I am considering to start streaming in the near future, so that puts me in the position to start looking for an upgrade. The price is a considerable factor and the performance is the most important (not having an unlimited budged though - if I get the i9, I am getting a 2060Super, while with the 3700x/3800x, I could get up to 2080S, but most likely a 2070S).

The rest of the components that I've got now don't matter, as I am selling my PC to a friend.
I know the better choice would be to get the 2070s at least (meaning that the i9 is out of range here), but since I kind of want to semi-prioritize streaming, what would be the real, best choice?

I can get the 3800x for the same price as the 3700x when on sale, while the specified i9 is more than 100$ pricier.

In that case 3800x for sure, unless you plan to OC the heck out of 9900 to 5GHz+ but that would increase it's price significantly, top end MB and liquid cooler.

I would suggest the 3700x and 2080 Super. Use the money you'll save with AMD and put it into the gpu.

I'm running a 3800x and 2070 Super at 1440p, no complaints at all.

I concur. The AMD CPUs are pretty fast and at that level should have a similar thread count. For gaming, I think the higher end gpu will help for gaming.
