Recently I bought a computer upgrade which contained 32gb of corsair 2666mhz DDR4, a Ryzen 3700x and a Gigabyte B450 Aorus elite. After putting it together and attempting to boot, no single came to the monitor and the DRAM Led was solid red. After running through the regular Ram troubleshoot, nothing fixed it. After a little bit of research, I came to the conclusion that the bios on my motherboard was not updated to f40 to support my 3rd gen Ryzen.
Would it be possible to purchase an Athlon 200GE, to install into the computer in order to access the bios and flash f32 and f40. Then install the 3rd gen cpu back in. I know it's a waste of money to only use the Cpu once, but would it work?
