Asus TUF Gaming X570-Plus and Aorus X570 Elite are two decent "budget" X570 motherboards at 200$ price point. I would not reccomend cheaper X570 than that maybe Asus Prime X570-P,Aorus X570 Gaming X for around 170$. To use the PCI-E gen 4.0 capabilities you need a Ryzen 3000 CPU so you have to pick the 3600.sorry, i forgot to mention that i need the pc for architecture purposes, like autocad and rendering. So i'll look if i can get to a x570 mobo
3600 is better than gaming than a 2700x so if you can afford it a 3700x should be your target for long term gaming. Motherboard depends on your budget. What is your budget for a motherboard?I want to change my current build, intel i7 4790, gigabyte z97x gaming 3 for a newer version. Oh, and which mobo should suit well for one of those proc?
3600 is better for gaming and in multithreading is a bit behind you should have equal multithreading scores with a stock 2700 and 1700X.3600 have better singlecore performance while drawing less power because its a 7nm chip (65w 3600 while 2700X draw 105W). As for motherboard if you use your computer for gaming B450 Tomahawk Max have the best value , good VRM's and its out of the box compatible with the CPU so no need to bios update. If you are working on your computer and the software you use require fast storage then you can look for X570 motherboards.I want to change my current build, intel i7 4790, gigabyte z97x gaming 3 for a newer version.
