[SOLVED] Ryzen 3800x and Krakenx72 Heat Issue

Hey everoyne, I just built my first computer with the Ryzen 3800x with the NZXT Kraken x72 and the temperature on cam is going crazy, I constantly hear the fans booting up and the temperatures are at least 10 C higher than on Ryzen Master. I flashed my BIOS to F10 to see if this might fix the issue but it didn't. Any help appreciated.

When posting a thread of troubleshooting nature, it's customary to include your full system's specs. List them like so:

With you mention BIOS version F10, I'm sure it's a Gigabyte made motherboard. Add the version of your OS as well and the version of CAM you're on.

Try HWinfo https://www.hwinfo.com/download/ it's most accurate for Ryzen.

HWInfo is showing the same temps as my CAM averages 50 C when having CAM, HWINFO, Chrome on at the same time.

Don't use two test programs together, that may throw calculations off. What are your max temperatures under load ?

I ran OCCT at Max load for an hour. The average was 62 c but it would jump to 70 if I was interacting with the OCCT ui

That's not much. I think you are good.

Thats great to hear. My only issue now with it is that the Temp spikes from 40-50 on idle. Having to set my fan curves to compensate for this issue.

Check for programs running in the background, there will be no core speed and with it temperature changes unless some SW demands it.
How's pump set for speed ? Masy need to run faster even at idle.
