Hey all,
I've been wanting to upgrade my 980 ti to a 3070 ti - 3080 ti depending on whats safe for my power supply or if I should just get a new one completely. I've had the power supply for about 5-6 years now and and every Power Supply Calculator I do says 750w is enough for the 3080 ti but it recommends the EVGA 750 N1 and I have a EVGA Supernova 750 b2. Its about 30 watts more selecting a 3080 ti rather than a 3070 ti. I'd appreciate your guys thoughts on what I should do. Thanks in advance
Heres my results from the power supply calculator ⬇⬇⬇

That's why you forget about power supply calculators.

750W is on the verge of being enough for RTX3080 Ti, maybe fine with R9 3900X depending on the use case tho. And EVGA B2 while a budget PSU, should probably have no problems with handling Ampere. If you can't buy a new PSU right now just try it out, if it doesn't shutdown then it's okay for the time being, if it does - lower the power limit until it doesnt. But i'd really recommend to eventually get a better PSU. Something out of what --SID-- has recommended above, maybe something else, depends on the availability in your region. But if in US, i'd say it's a...

I'm just using it for gaming and streaming.. and is it safe to risk and see if it works? But thank you for your help, so the ideal thing here is to just get a new power supply?
