So, I was planning to upgrade my PC and Ryzen 5 chips are my way to go. But I'm confused on what should I get; a Ryzen 5 1400 with a decent mobo or a Ryzen 5 1500x with, not that bad, but maybe a half decent mobo? Basically, here are the details:

Processor: Ryzen 5 1400
Motherboard: MSI A320M GRENADE(https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/A320M-GRENADE.html#productFeature-section),/ ASUS PRIME A320M-K(https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/PRIME-A320M-K/)

OR

Processor: Ryzen 5 1500x
Motherboard: Asrock A320M-HDV(http://www.asrock.com/MB/AMD/A320M-HDV/index.asp)

By the way, I am not planning to OC. Not interested in anyway. I also don't live in the US, just so you guys know. The pricing is a bit different. The 2 options are in the same or almost the same price. Also, if there is a chance that you folks live in the PH and bump into this thread, I would like some help on where to buy cheap products aswell. Thanks in advance! :)

If you're not OCing then the X version is the way to go. The non-X needs the OC to make up for the low clock rate and weaker single thread performance compare to Intel counterpart, then it would become the better value-to-performance option for the lower budget build.

So long that you do have sufficient airflow inside the case, and don't stress test your CPU when it's 30+ Celsius out; there shouldn't be any issue.

Do recognize that these low end board have just one chassis fan header, so pick your case fans wisely (or be prepared for extra cost for fan controller).

I don't think I can afford B350 mobos for budget reasons. I'll be getting an 8GB RAM. I have a mid tower case with 5 fans(2 on the top, 2 on the front, 1 on the back. All 120mm fan) will that be enough for a "sufficient airflow"?
