I want to buy a prebuilt pc. So which will be better for gaming: the ryzen 5 2400g with gtx 1060 3gb or the ryzen 5 1400 with the rx 580 4gb

Solution
Both CPUs are 4c/8t with the Ryzen 5 2400G being newer, has higher boost clocks and integrated graphics.

As for the graphics cards they're rather marginal. Most benchmarks (I've seen) for GTX 1060 and RX 580 tend to trade places depending on the game. Would personally favour the 2400G build if all other components are equal.

What are the rest of the specs for both systems?

Yeah, they are pretty similar for the other specs so I also prefer the 2400g build I think. But I dont know that much about it

In that case I would go with the 2400G build for the reasons I mentioned previously. It's a newer CPU with higher clockspeeds and has integrated graphics should you ever need to use it. The 1400 in this case offers very little, if any, advantage over the 2400G.

If wanting a bit more info or opinions, then consider linking the two builds for people on the forum here to scrutinise.
