Ryzen 5 1500x build issues

So I got a ryzen 5 1500x yesterday, with an Asrock ab350 pro 4 motherboard. I've updated the BIOS, and the system seems to be running fine, except for these issues:

1) I can't play any games, because as soon as the loading screen fades and the game starts up, the application just straight up closes.
2) when switching from one chrome tab to another, there's a brief moment when the screen turns black.
3) In websites like Facebook, my newsfeed appears just fine, but things like notifications and messages don't load.
Pls help. I'm using
Ryzen 5 1500x
Asrock ab350 pro 4
2x4gb ddr4 patriot ram 2400mhz (fitted into A2 and B2)
Gigabyte G1 gtx 1050ti 4gb
A 530W Thermaltake power supply

Problems you are describing are of OS and driver nature and not HW.

I've clean installed windows and the graphics drivers. this took care of the 2nd and 3rd problems, but the first still remains. games keep closing.
what else can I do to resolve this?
pls help ;-;

OK so I ran memtest, and turns out one of my ram sticks has issues with it. the games and the system as a whole run fine when that stick isn't connected. I'll probably just get it replaced.
