Ryzen 5 1600 and 1050ti for budget gaming

Hi everyone! Is this a good combination?

Wanted to build a budget gaming pc that can run games in med-high setting 60fps -+ and has roomfor upgrades. Planning to get gtx1060 by xmas or 1st quarter of 2019.

Please do share you comments and suggestions.

1600+1050ti is a good idea. Just take B450 mobo to avoid RAM compatibility issue.
Get 16GB RAM, plan an SSD (minimum 250GB).

Plan to upgrade to 1060 6GB from 1050ti only within several months? bad!
It is better to press a wee bit more and go directly to 1060 6GB or just keep the 1050ti, until the next gen GPU.

Ryzen is great for upgrade path, if you can going for 2600 series might be better choice.
1050 ti is enough for normal games, but more mid than high. 1060 6 GB is high 6-+ fps.
set up a budget and ppl will create it all for you.

In a case like this, and where you have some time to shop I might consider looking at the RX580 deals that have been ongoing. The big issue with that selection being power usage and heat, particularly over a 1050

So it would be better to wait for a few more months and go for 1060 or rx580? Btw, would r5 1600 and 1060/rx580 bottleneck each other?

1600 + 1060 6GB/RX580 is good. This is a ballanced system.

RX580 and 1060 6GB are almost the same in performance. I would pick the cheapest one.

There is no sense in buying a 1050Ti now and then planning jumping to a 1060 two months later...

Just wait...or get an 8400 now, add 1060 when you can....
