Ryzen 5 1600 and 2x4gb 2666mhz compatible?

Ive heard alot of conflicting reports about ryzen 5 and ram so could someone tell me if the above configuration will work or bottleneck it in anyway etc.

Ryzen uses DDR4 memory. As long as you use DDR4 memory (such as 2666 or 2400) with the appropriate AM4 motherboard, you will be fine.
