Hey I'm 2 weeks near to my 2nd Ryzen Build. I earlier had a Ryzen 3 2200G Entry level pc which i had assembled myself ( And had faced issues due to Ram which is not listed in the QVL). Now it's mu second build, I'm almost a noob in picking Ryzen memory. This time I'm making sure that everything is perfect. The components are listed below.

Ryzen 5 1600
Asus Prime B450M-A
WD Green 240GB SSD
Asus Rog Strix RX570 4GB
Corsair CX450
CM Masterbox Q300L
2X4GB RAM (
That's what this is all about)

I know 1st gen Ryzen are older but i have a strict budget and these are now pretty cheaper than Ryzen 5 2400G and has more threads and cores. And also can get similar performance of a stock 2600 when overclocked. And about the GPU as all of you guys know now the price for RX570 got down and it's the best VFM product from the competition. Now back to the thread, I have been searching for a good pair of RAM.I have found one pair from Hyper X which is rated @2400Mhz 2X4GB on Amazon. And also a GSKILL kit rated @3200Mhz from Newegg. I'm living in India and most of the people don't give a shit about QVL but not me. The price is almost similar to both models if shipping charge from Newegg is excluded. But there is a problem The GSKILL one has two kits ( Samsung/Hynix) on the same model number and this issue is pointed out by many in the reviews. The samsung kit is listed in the QVL not the Hynix one. So the Hynix one causes BSOD in Ryzen builds. But one thing to not that most of the people commented was using Raven Ridge processors (2200G). I also had faced this issue in my first build. Does the 1st gen Ryzen have this issue? I'm not sure which one to go for. I'll include the Newegg link below. Kindly help
