Hello everyone,

This is my first post and will introduce my first build too lol

Ryzen 5 1600 3.2ghz with fan cooler after market. Better than the stock one "youtube"
2x8gb Ddr4 2400mhz hyperx fury
Mobo asrock ab350 pro4

It's my first time on clocking, i start stream gaming and it's seems that my cpu can't handle 720p60 smoothly "lags"

Thats why im trying to overclock

I was able to go on 3.6ghz 1.3v
Testing full load for 15min max temp 70°C... Is it safe for daily use? Case 5 fans set to max

I didn't try to go upper cuz i'm worried to do something wrong? What's the max i can do?

And what must i change to clock the ram to 3000mhz? I dont understand the speed thing.

Apreciate any help

Hey Again, I was able to get my cpu to work on full load on 3.7ghz 1.3v max temp on stress test 70°c
After reading some thread here, 70°C is safe, but i'm not gonna reach it anyway on daily basis, since it's only on full load.

I'm still looking on how to increase my ram speed to 3000mhz

Is it safe to start testing, I mean with Voltage? still didn't tried yet

Thank you CountMike,

I tried it, on 3000mhz = boot loop 5 times, then startup back to main frequency.
2933mhz, same problem.
This is what DRAM Calculator suggest me.

Just to mention that the Soc Voltage isn't yet on my motherboard as an option.

Trying to reach 3000mhz, if i can't i will not bother my self to clock it to 2666mhz, since no big deal

What do you think ?

It's a micron b-die
Yeah it's seems hard to clock it, even the cpu goes back to normal frequency after manupulating the ram..

Psu 550 watt + rx580 , maybe this affect clocking too.

Anyway, im still happy with the stock frequency, will upgrade later if needed

Thank yoy guys for your help
