Basically, my 1070 STRIX was selling for around this much if not more on ebay, so I listed it.
Now, I sold it within 16 hours for $560. I want to get a 1080, but I have two questions:
1ST: How much of a performance increase is it form 1070 to 1080, on Ryzen 1600?
2ND: I sold through e-bay, and it has seller protection enabled. If you don't know, eBay holds the funds until the package has arrived. I am 17 years old and do in fact have enough money to buy the 1080 I want but I am worried about the worst situation because $550 is a lot of money to be spending, especially for a teenager, so if I were to buy a 1080 on newegg right now, would it be safe for me to do?
