[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 1600 idle temps 42degrees and 75 while playing rainbow six. Is this ok?

You would have to run it at like 100+ degrees for days on end for it to shorten its lifespan down to less than two years, Even if your cpu was peaking at 95 from time to time, it still will only degrade it slightly,

Thats seems to be decent temps, specially if you:

• LIve in a warm place
• Your case does not have very good airflow
• Your using the AMD stock cooler that came with the CPU
• If your GPU is blowing the heat inside your case and the exhaust rear case fan is not powerfull enough.

As long as the cooler is installed properly you shouldn't worry too much

No, it will not. As long as it stays around those temps youre going to be fine.

My Core i5 3570 used to go over 73°C for years when gaming, and still working fine, along with the motherboard, RAM, PSU , etc.
