Ryzen 5 1600 Turbo boost

Is it safe to use the turbo boost? I'm using it stock cooler

First attempt and checked on CPU-Z and its voltage jump to ±1.45v (i'm using stock cooler so i dont want it become hot)

And I try another manual oc to 3.6ghz at 1.3v, and it oerform better at the multi/singlecore benchmark but looks worse in game fps (looks like stuttering?). Looks like i'll try to raise it voltage to 1.325v maybe next time

Temps are the only real concern as long as you stay below 1.35v (1.4 would be as high as I'd be willing to consider). Every 1600 I've seen will do 3.5 at a minimum on the stock cooler. Only one failed to see 3.6

So I better to oc it to 3.5 at 1.3~1.35v?
I'm back to stock now, kinda afraid to OC it because its my first time

Yeah just hang out at 3.5 and check it throroughly temp wise. If they are fine during prime 95 runs go for 3.6 if you want. If you plan to try and walk it to 3.8/4.0 then buy a better cooler

And how long i need to use prime95? Does about a hour enough?

Yes usually an hour is plenty of time especially on an air cooler
