Ryzen 5 1600 voltage wont go higher

I have a Ryzen 5 1600 paired with a cryorig H7. Gskill rams set to 2400max and an asrock b350 pro4

Problem is whenever i want to overclock my ryzen 5 beyond 1.37500 it stays there.

When i dial 1.38000 it turns back into 1.375. I gotta friend who has the same mobo but a 1800x and goes past the 1.375. what could be the problem?

Oh lol i'm blind.
Many motherboards have preset voltages, have you tried a high enough number such as 1.39000 that would get it over the 1.375 preset?

I tried 1.3800 but it keeps going back to the to 1.375. whenever i press enter as i put it. I dial in 1.38000 and when i press enter on the bios it goes back to 1.375

He may be running a different board bios to you .

Id argue you shouldnt need to go above 1.375v anyway with a ryzen 5

Over 1.375v yes but maybe not on a b350 board.

My friend and I have the same latest board bios we got from asrock. Youre saying that its normal? That i wont ever go past through 1.375 and his can go beyond with a ryzen 7? Ive seen reviews ryzen 5 can go over like 1.4 not that im willing to go there.

No Im saying you shouldn't need to go above 1.375v anyway.

I'm running a ryzen 1700@4ghz at 1.3675v.

Just tried mine same board same thing anything over 1.375 goes to 1.375. Never noticed as thats the max i tried.
