[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 1600x compatible ram

My build: Ryzen 5 1600x
Gpu: R9 380 4gb
RAM: Ballistix 8gb 2666mhz
650 cmx psu
ssd kingston 240gb
500gb some hdd drive
So as you can see I have 8 gb ram with the speed of 2666mhz, I want to upgrade that. (I can buy 8 more gb same ram) But I just wanted to ask because everyone says I need a more efficient ram for ryzen.

If anyone could recommend me some ram thats faster or the same speed for as cheap as possible.(I m broke) and what is the difference in the speed of 2666mt/s and 3000 or 3200 mt/s

Consult ram QVL list for your motherboard.
Ryzen cpus are known to be rather sensitive to ram.

You can basically use any RAM in the market, RAM in the QVL list only tested RAM. I'm running RAM not included in my board QVL list at its speed. Well sometimes certain RAM can't reach its max speed, depend on what's your motherboard.
