Hi, I'm going to be buying a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM soon, I was originally going to get a system based around the Ryzen 5 2600. I have now seen the 1700x and looked interested in it and would like your thoughts and opinions to which one would be more useful to me! Note: I plan on streaming at around 720-1080p and I want to edit my videos for youtube in Sony Vegas too. I also work with photoshop. When I stream, I plan to play Fortnite on all low settings. I want to stream and play Fortnite with about 100+ fps at the least, my current system cant handles in-game above 150 and get massive framerate drops from around 30-90, and these framerate drops are constant. I would like to have applications open in the background, e.g Discord, Spotify, youtube playlist, etc!
I will want to be multitasking when I am editing videos, wanting to work on Sony Vegas. When I render my video I would be able to want to watch a youtube video without constant stuttering and lagging! Please could somebody recommend the 2600 or the 1700x? If so, what motherboard and RAM would best suit my needs? Thanks

My current system is:
GPU:MSI GTX GeForce 1060 6GB
CPU: AMD FX-6300
RAM: Kingston Hyper X Fury DDR3
Power Supply: Corsair CS650M

Note: I do know a bit about systems and computers so I will understand you ! :D

I have both. A 1700X and a 2600. The 2600 hands down for most tasks including gaming, better imc, slightly better ipc, slightly better turbo etc... The 1700X may be marginally better for productivity and very heavy multitasking. I would get the 2600 tbh.
