Ryzen 5 2400G Underperforming

I just built my first PC and I've been having a strange problem. I tried running some games, and my PC is performing terribly, even after overclocking. In fact, to test, I ran Portal 2 on default settings, and my old dual-core i5 Ivy Bridge laptop w/ iGPU outperformed my new rig. What should I do to fix this?
OLD LAPTOP SPECS:
Core i5-3320M
Intel HD graphics 4000
1x4GB DDR3 @1600MHz
NEW PC SPECS:
Ryzen 5 2400G
Vega 11 iGPU
2x4GB DDR4 @2733 MHz
MSI B350 PC MATE

I'd be willing to guess the correct graphics driver is not installed, and you are running some sort of default barely functioning MS-supplied default/generic driver....

Get the latest WINdows update (18.03) as well...

Well, that worked. I had the latest windows update downloaded, but the MS drivers. Thanks!
