My Ryzen 5 EDC is always on 90% plus and the temperature is 45-47 degrees on idle. I've tried googling how to fix this and they all recommend using the balanced power plan. I'm on this already but my EDC is still skyrocketing for some reason.

Any known solutions to this? If I put my power plan mode on power saver it drops the EDC to around 20% when idle but this gives me terrible FPS when playing games.

FPS are not influenced either by EDC or power saver feature in Widows. Idle temps don't matter either, it's maximum temps that matter. That CPU will start throttling above 70c under load.

Oh thanks, I updated my chipset drivers and it's running better now. Good to know idle temps don't matter
