Ryzen 5 2600 enough for 60 fps at least 2 years from now??

I was thinking to buy a ryzen 2600 with gigabyte x470 ultra gaming mobo and I want to know if I can play games at 60 fps ( 1080p ) at least 2 years beginning from now. After 2 years i will change the cpu with the new gen of amd ( if my mobo will be able to handle am4+ in the near future )

The 2600 does not have on board graphics so you will need a gpu .

The next Gen of Ryzen chips will go into AM4 Sockets so you are fine to upgrade in the future.

The CPU is very capable and should last you a long time.

Its impossible to comment on FPS as i dont know what games you play, what GPU you have, What resolution you play at, what graphics settings you are talking about, etc....

I mean just in terms of cpu, I have already bought an rx 590 for 4 months
