I'm planning to switch to ryzen this year and prices here are little bit different, ryzen 5 1600 is 150usd(converted) while ryzen 5 2600 is 170usd, I'm also considering ryzen 5 3600 but 199usd is too much for me and for sure that will be around 210-220usd once the processor become available here.

so I'm looking for other things to consider r5 1600 since it's 20$ cheaper than 2600 and a lot cheaper than 3600

I'd wait for the 3600 to come out if only because the 1600 and 2600 prices will drop shortly afterwards. 3600 samples are already beating the 2700x in geekbench too.
The Ry2600 is a great CPU and a $20 difference won't really make you purchase anything useful on its own for your PC over the Ry1600.

I wouldn't wait for the Ry3600 if you can't afford the MSRP and your intuition is most likely correct as I also think the street price will be higher for a while after release. You won't really miss anything important from the Ry3600, but keep in mind they do bring some nice performance gains. Would the performance difference be big enough to warrant waiting for it? Maybe and that's the only thing I'd argue over buying the Ry2600 right now.

The release date is the 7th of July, so you have some time to save up for the difference. If you can wait (and save money), then do that. If you're pressed for a new PC now, buy the Ry2600.

Cheers!

I'd wait a few more weeks until the Ryzen 3000's get released and see if the prices on the 1600 and 2600 drop anymore.
If you can't wait I'd get the 2600 for the extra $20 and OC it and you can get 2600x performance out of it like I do.
