Which cpu is better for gaming and streaming games Ryzen 7 2700 or 3600 if paired 1660 super i will be using nvidia encoder for streaming anyways , how much cpu matter can i go as low as 2600 ?

due to price inceeased , 3600 is now costing here like 3700 so 3700 is way out of budget max i can buy is 3600 i want to know that 2700 has more cores will they help in streaming as just for gaming i am pretty sure that 3600 is good due to high clock speed

When using the GPU for streaming the CPU has zero effect on it,you can go as low as you want,all you have to care about is if the CPU will be able to fully use the 1660 super.

Also using the GPU for streaming might lower the FPS you get by a little bit depending on the settings you normally use,if the GPU gets used 100% by the game and you add streaming you will lose game performance,but in general it's a small amount.

grab the 3600...even the extra cores on the 2700 won't be able to overcome the faster IPC and much larger cache size of the 3600 while gaming and streaming.
