Still deciding on my CPU

I'll be using the Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB (16GB, 3200MHZ), Asus Dual Series GTX 1070 with a 860 QVO SSD or Seagate Barracuda Compute SSD (Depending on which CPU I choose.)

My needs will be doing video editing in 1080p 60fps and gaming (1080p 144fps+).

Keep in mind that I'm in AU so the Ryzen 5 2600 is $250 and the 1800x is $370.70.

Please help me

Solution
i doubt your editing software uses more than the 12 threads available with the 2600. the 2600 also has slightly faster core performance vs the 1800x. so if price is a concern, i'd go with the 2600.

do check your software though and if it actually would benefit from the extra threads of the 1800x, then it's obviously the better choice.
