Ryzen 5 2600 RX 580. Low FPS in csgo?

Just built a new system with an RX 580, r5 2600 and 3000mhz Ram. While playing csgo I get around a high of 120 FPS. I have the latest driver update and I'm just not sure why its so low. Chill mode is off. Any thoughts or anything else I should check?

Nope 16gb running at 3000mhz in dual channel (2x8)

That is low, is the entire system new or did you use an old storage drive with an OS on it?

I have a hard drive and a ssd that i brought over from my old build. CSGO is on my Hard drive, OS is on my SSD

you need to reinstall windows with the new hardware that is likely your issue

I will try that, is there anyway I can do this without having to reinstall all my apps etc?

You can put all your apps on a flash drive and then transfer them onto the new OS.

I'm going to be 100% real with you, I did a very similar build to this (2600x, 580 8gb, 3200 cl16) and am having very poor performance also. About to give up and return the graphics card. I would love to support team red but am coming to the conclusion the graphics cards are just crap relative to team green.

@schaperb9 I have a ryzen 3 with a RX 570 8gb, and I get around 150 FPS on CS:GO. Perhaps there’s an issue with your system?

I would love to support team red but am coming to the conclusion the graphics cards are just crap relative to team green.

I'm hoping this re install will fix the issue!
