Hello, I'm planning on upgrading my R5 2600 pc build with an RTX GPU. I bought the rig with RX 560 gigabyte OC attached, 8 gigs of RAM, MSI A320 VH PRO PLUS mobo, and a 450 watt true rated PSU by corsair and all put into a Tecware Nexus M case.

The options are:

I could upgrade to an RX 580 Armor then I could buy more ram, and add more watts.

Or I could straight up RTX and save up later for RAMs and watts?

What do you guys think?

I wouldn't risk the 2060 with a 450W VS. Save up and get a better PSU with the 2060 then upgrade the memory. If the memory is slower (2133/2400/2666) then you'll want to sell it and get a 2x8gb 3200mhz kit.

That's it then :) I should consider my PSU first before the GPU then add more RAM since it's above the three memory speeds that you've mentioned.

Do you have any PSU recommendations on upgrading from the 450vs Corsair?

It depends on what's available but a excellent quality PSU such as the Seasonic Focus Gold 550W would be ideal. If not then the Corsair CXM 550W is a good quality PSU for the price.

Would you recommend the EVGA 500 BV 80+ Bronze 500W Power Supply? I won't use liquid cooling but just some led fan lights.

or the SeaSonic Bronze S12II 520 520watts 80+ True Rated PSU?

SeaSonic it is then :) I hope it does well with the RTX 2060 Gigabyte OC as my future GPU upgrade. I'll be selling the old components when I buy the new ones in order for me to add some budget onto the next upgrade.

When I'm finished with the PSU, GPU, and RAMs. I'll be dealing with the case but that's going to be alot later.

I'm a rookie gamer myself aiming to get a nice rig.

Thanks for the help guys :)
