Question ryzen 5 2600

No*

*Depends on the resolution. 1080p and higher in 99% of games you wouldn't see much of a difference between Intel and AMD unless you want to use FPS monitor software

The Ryzen R5-2600 will outperform the R7-1700 in most games when both are run at stock speeds.

People are too overly concerned about bottlenecks. While all systems bottleneck at some point, it's only of real concern when pairing a high-end component with a low-end component, A Ryzen 5 2600/7-1700 isn't going to be of concern.

well i already have amd am4 board so...
get ryzen 2700x if you can for gtx 1080 for 1080p (my friend has ryzen 2700x and gtx 1080 ti he gets like 10% bottleneck) for gtx 1070 ryzrn 2600 will be enough
my advise is to get new series card 20/16 i don't think you can find 10series cards at normal price it will be pretty high and wait for ryzen new generation

What refresh rate is your monitor? As people have alluded to, the only time Intel has a noticeable lead vs AMD is high FPS gaming. But if you only have a 60 Hz monitor I don't see any reason to be concerned about only getting 120 fps instead of 135 fps (or whatever). And if your resolution is 1440p or greater, your GPU will be the limiting factor in most cases.
