[SOLVED] ryzen 5 2600x normal temp?

is it normal for my r5 2600x idle temp to be 35 to 40ish °C then suddenly fluctuates to 50°C then goes back to 40°C repeating the process?, im using cryorig h7 quad lumi im a bit anxious about my temp since 50°C is what my previous fx 6300 oc'ed temp when under load

If the temp fluctuates to 50°C at the moment CPU frequency goes higher, then it's OK. If there's no obvious reason for it to fluctuate, then it should be looked into.

Do you monitor temps with Ryzen Master?

Yes i use both hw and ryzen master to monitor my temp

CPUs can jump from room temp to +10 easily. It’s what happens when your run current through something just like a lightbulb. There’s not gradual warming. It’s instantaniously hot.

I wouldn't bother about it
