Hello guys. I want to upgrade my pc and I can't decide which of the two CPUs to buy. I will use my pc ONLY for gaming and maybe slight recording but that's it. I have a gtx 1070 and I'm gaming on 1080p 60hz. I will buy a 1080p/144hz monitor during black friday, so which CPU do you think is the best for me? I will buy on of the two next Friday or Saturday. The 3600/b450 tomahawk/16gb corsair vengeance 3000mhz combo is around 470€ where I live. If I go with a 2600x I will have room to spend on aesthetics, so I'll go with 2600x/asus prime x470 pro/16gb gskill trident 3000mhz rgb. That combo costs about 460€. So what do you think. Should I sacrifice aesthetics and a better mobo for a more future proof pc? Thanks in advance.

Solution
If anything, then a better CPU will make it more future proof than motherboard. Go with the 3600 combo, its simply better for 10 bucks extra.

All right thank you. I read somewhere that the 3600 has high temps. Is this true? I will pair it with my corsair h100i v2 cooler and not with the stock one. Do you think I'll be okay?
Not true, the cooler in the box while it does let the temps soar pretty high, has my 3600 hitting the mid 80s while still boosting to 3.9GHz, with a AIO cooler like that you'll see peak boost 100% of the time.
