Im planning to build a new PC. Im stuck with these CPUs

Ryzen 5 3600
Ryzen 5 2600
Ryzen 5 2400G
Ryzen 5 3400G (original pick)
i5 8400 (original pick)
i5 9400
i3 8100

im not gonna use shaders but ill be using a few basic mods cus i dont need a lot of mods
can anyone suggest whats is the better choice? you also suggest more CPUs i don’t want list them all here (yes even the i3s and the Ryzen 3s)

Ryzen CPUs without g at the end and intel cpus with -f at the end have no integrated graphics.

Unless you have dedicated graphics card, avoid those.

It he 8400 offers better cpu performance than the 2400g but the 3400g has a much better igpu.

Id go 3400g or 2400g.

a 3400g will be better than a 2400g (there is no 2600g)

best pick at the moment would be the 3600 plus a graphics card

but it would also work fine with a 3400G or even a 3200G without extra graphics card
