Question Ryzen 5 3400g

The apu Ryzen 3400g is worrtyh, and I would like to ask you guys about the motherboard i should get the that APU, ( 80-120)$

I'd suggest getting a B450 mobo. The 3400g is a great APU, with the best integrated graphics out there. It wil play 1080p on low-medium settings, depending on the game. The CPU is very capable.

You also should get 3000mhz ram. Ryzen loves fast ram. By having fast ram, and a 2 x 8gb kit, you will have a really good system. All it will need to game would be a discrete GPU, like a GTX1660/RX570/580.

Yes mate, I'm going for B450 with 8gb 3200, the problem is am I suppost to update the bios? that's my issue

Im pretty sure the 3400g is supported on the original BIOS for most B450's, although it's has the Ryzen 3xxx moniker, it's a Ryzen 2.0 chip. You may have to update the bios, which you could do with an older Ryzen CPU. If you buy a MAX version of the B450 it comes with the right bios out of the box.

I'd defo get a 2x matched kit. If you can only go 8gbs, make sure to get a 2 x 4 gb kit.

I´m running the 3400g on Gigabyte Aorus B450 Elite with 2x8 GB Crucial Sport 3200 RAM, everything is OK and game performance is very good for APU. I recommend 16 GB RAM because the APU takes 2 gigs so 8 GB total may not be enough. It was necessary to upgrade BIOS so if you choose the same MOBO make sure at least F40 BIOS is installed otherwise you would have to get an older GPU to flash it.

Yes you have to update the BIOS, doesn't matter if the Ryzen 3000 APUs are on the Zen+ architecture. The motherboard needs to support each individual CPU.

If you live near a Microcenter or Fry's they may update the BIOS for free if you buy the board from them.
