[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 3600 on A320M

I have seen a video showing a 3600 working on an A320M mobo. I know its not ideal but can the 3600 work with this https://www.gigabyte.com/uk/Motherboard/GA-A320M-DS2-rev-10/support#support-dl-driver
I have a Corsair AIO to keep temps down as I have seen idling temps are higher than usual, Cheers

As long as the bios is updated for 3rd gen support, yes it can.

It says on the website that F40x is needed for 3600 and I am able to upgrade to F50a so I suppose it’s compatible right ?

Make sure to do the bios update. I would almost suggest the 3600x due to it having a better cooler.

Oops, nevermind. I was on my phone. Just saw you have an AIO. Yes, if bios supports it, 3600 is good. Not lots of overclocking headroom anyway, but good performer. Go for it.

Temps when on Cinebench :
VRM MOS - 80° c
VSOC MOS - 62° c
Temps when idle :
VRM MOS - 57° c
VSOC MOS - 59° c

(sorry for all the questions mate)
