I´m looking for upgrading my CPU which is i5-7500 paired with Strix 1060 6 GB.
Two main competitors are:
AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Intel Core i5-10400F
I´m now using Corsair 16 GB DDR4 3200 MHz RAMs so I can reuse them.
In my country the Intel with some B460 board is about 45 USD cheaper than the Ryzen with the B450 board.
Watched some reviews and even at 2667 MHz the i5 is better at gaming than the Ryzen with 3200 MHz RAMs.
I wanna hear your opinions if I should get one of these or wait for the new Ryzen 4-series desktops...or if is the Ryzen more futureproof for its AM4 socket than the still changing intel mobos?
