Difference is huge , specially at games. Not only more, faster cores but also extended CPU cache. Just check if your MB has BIOS version specifically for x3D.guys, im planning to upgrade from r5 3600 to 5700x3d

just got it right now but bought it as second hand, how do I test if its legit?Difference is huge , specially at games. Not only more, faster cores but also extended CPU cache. Just check if your MB has BIOS version specifically for x3D.
"is it worth it with the current price?" that's up to you.
Check SKU number printed on the CPU (SKU · 6573560), Is it installed and running right now ? BIOS should show exact model. If it's running in Windows you should see it in Properties and Device manager> CPU. Further checks with programs like CPU-Z, HWinfo and such with even more details.just got it right now but bought it as second hand, how do I test if its legit?
is there a benchmark tool that will compare my result the same people like with with the same cpu?

Benchmarks to compare, PCmark 10, Passmark Performance test. Cinebench 23.
Which MB and CPU cooler do you have ? To get most of it, some settings in BIOS may have to be tweaked, not same as for 3600.
Yes. looks normal.hello, this is the result in cpu-z, is this legit?
also, why there is no X3D in the name?

Yes. x3D is a bit slower in applications where x3D cache is not used and that's mostly in games.ok i benchmark it using cpu-z
