So I currently have a Ryzen 5 3400G as my current CPU and I am trying to get some advice on if it is a good idea to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3600.
I know that it would not be a huge upgrade, if at at all, but that is what I am looking to figure out here.

I would like to take advantage of the sale on Newegg as the 3600 is $195 for the next 6+ hours until the sale ends.
At the moment I can't really afford to purchase anything like a 5800X, but at the same time like I said if it is worth it then I would like to buy the on sale 3600.

My goal is to get 144fps on my 1920x1080 gaming monitor while playing call of duty cold war, warzone and fortnite a lot more consistently or always constant if at all possible.

If anyone can let me know their advice on this based on my pc specs I would greatly appreciate it a lot!

Solution
The 3600 would actually be a pretty decent upgrade considering it's two more cores, can be overclocked for more oomph, and it's based on Zen 2 whereas the 3400G is based off Zen+, so there's extra improvements there.

Yeah pretty decent jump and higher minimum fps and more cores / threads for games that want them. Though, depending on game / settings etc, Vega 56 could be running out of legs before the 3600 does.
