Planning on upgrading my system after 4 years of using R5 1600 + 1060.
I want to upgrade to intel arc 750 and ryzen 5600. wanted to know if thats a good combination.
Also my PSU is almost dead so will have to buy a new one as well. (thinking of a corsair VS650) please let me know if this is a good upgrade

I'd avoid he VS range of PSU's. What sort of PSU's do you have access to? As for your combo, you should be fine though I'm assuming you plan on retaining the motherboard that you currently have. If so, please pass on the specs to your build like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the BIOS version on your motherboard at this moment of time.

these are my current specs
CPU: Ryzen 5 1600
CPU cooler: stock
Motherboard: B450 Aorus Elite
Ram: Crucial Ballistix 16gb 3600
SSD/HDD: Lexar NM620 M.2 NVMe
GPU: Zotac 1060 6gb
PSU: corsair VS 550
Chassis: generic
OS: Windows 10
Monitor: Old dell 1080p monitor

Current budget is about 500$ cant go any higher as i have to purchase a laptop as well. I am very happy with my motherboard and ram so not planning to upgrade those. Looking to upgrade just the CPU, GPU and PSU.

My main reason to upgrade is the poor performance in games and lack of windows 11 on ryzen 1st gen. Since a few days my PSU also has been acting up and doesnt let me put load on the gpu.

Primary games - destiny 2 & CSGO.
