I have got a deal for a Ryzen 5 5600, and I want to swap my 2600 on my Asrock ab350m pro4 MB.
However, I cannot find any info on how should I do the BIOS upgrade. My current version is 5.10 and from what I see before I upgrade to 7.40 I need to install the 7.00 bridge BIOS.
And there is my question: Should I install the bridge bios, swap the CPUs and then install the 7.40 or swap it after the 7.40 installation?

Ryzen 5000 is not supported on that board until BIOS version 7.20. Unless the board allows you to update the BIOS without a CPU installed in the system, your only option is to do the BIOS updates with the 2600 installed before going to the 5600.

Thanks. When I read your comment, I see that I have not read carefully enough.
