Hello, I'm still pretty new to OC and this is the result of my prime95 small FFT's stress test for about 15 mins without rebooting at around 4.6ghz 1.275v, I was satisfied with the temperature of max 85c

Are these numbers good/normal?

Solution
That's pretty great if anything, are you sure you're not just boasting? Temps are bordering a little too high, if your CPU isn't a golden egg it might crash due to instability from those high temps. But I doubt you'll be busting all cores to 100% a lot anyway. For gaming or even video editing you should most likely average around 60-70Deg, which should be stable temps.

I don’t know about boasting lol, but im genuinely worried coz its my first time owning a desktop pc after using a laptop in for so long so I have been researching and asking people who are knowledgeable about it so I don’t break my first pc, but you’re absolutely spot on the average temps at 60-70c, ive been playing cp77 at max settings and the highest temp was 71c.

The only thing I’m worried about now is my manual oc, its always at max clock of 4.6ghz even at idle, and I have power plan of balance enabled.

Is there a fix to this or should I just leave it as is? (Im worried about my cpu degrading or something)

I would be overjoyed after 15mins of that particular Prime test. Now you should be a nice polite boy or girl and stop talking about how components that haven't been available since November are performing so well. No, fair play mate, good to hear, it's the card I hope to get myself sometime before this summer.

Oh I didn’t meant it to flex lol, I do understand how lucky I am that I managed to snag one, I hope you get yours too!

No need to worry, Ryzen CPU's don't technically stay at manual all core overclocks all the time, they just ramp up to that level at all cores when they are being utilized. You can see this if you install AMD's "Ryzen master" utility. You can see the clock speed of each individual core/logical processor. As long as your core voltage is not higher than 1.325v then you need not worry about degrading your CPU's life span. Overclocking your clock speed will only trigger the stability of your CPU, it's the voltage that can harm its overall life span, so 1.275v you have it on is pretty safe. Though if you ever get random shutdowns it's possible your CPU is unstable at that clock speed at that voltage. But so far things look stable so there shouldn't be anything to worry about.

P.S You may want to switch your power plan to enhanced performance, any power head room you can give your PC is always ideal. But if you see no problem with the plan you're on now then, if it ain't broke, right?
