[SOLVED] Ryzen 5 5600x

I am planning on upgrading from a Ryzen 7 1700 to a Ryzen 5 5600x. I currently have the Asus Strix B450-F motherboard. Will this work or should I purchase the B550-F?

Unless you care about PCI-E gen 4.0 storage for your top M.2 NVME slot, and getting 3.0 for your second one, that runs off the chipset, B550 isn't necessary.

Thanks for the reply. I have an M.2 right now but will it benefit from gen 4.0? I don't know much about it.
