Note : I plan to buy im my local stores and dont want to buy online and possibly have o deal with warrenties down the road because for me that's more easy to deal personaly

Hello, i need need help to choose one of the new ryzen 5s for my new build and i'm a little bit confused about wich one should i get , so .... i was indecise between the
r5 1400-197€
1500x- 217€
and 1600 -255€
I know they're a bit expensive but that's the obly way ... so i plan to game and edit a little bit of video and work with photoshop and lightroom my brother likes to edit video too . But we game a lot more than we edit ... so sould i go for the 1400 because it's cheaper and "enough" or for the 1500x for the middle price point and better cooler OR the 1600 for the extra cores , better cooler and maybe much more future proof ? I know games dont use cores though ... if i go with the 1400 and 1500x my build goes bellow the 700€ mark and with the 1600 it goes 730€ ish ... i plan to get a decent overall build (b350 motherboard , rx480 sapphire nitro 4gb and 8gn ram)

Yeah probably the best bet. Games are getting more multi threaded all the time, so having 2 extra cores should help going forward.

Well I personally would go for 1500x, you can also overclock it..Mid range CPU is better for budget gaming and also be helpful with video editing. and also recommend you to go with Rx580 its a same priced as Rx 480 with little performance boost.

Sorry but here that rx480 is 209€ and there is no 580 at that price point... the cheapest 580 is 270€ ... the sellers in my country are very greedy , thanks for your answer and sorry for the -1 ...missclick and i'm new here !

if you have budget then go for the best that your budget allows you..you can't predict future now but it surely lasts longer than 1400 and 1500x
