Hey all,

I need some help, I just installed a new Ryzen 5 1600 into my computer, and I am trying to get Star Wars: The Old Republic to launch. Yet no matter what I have tried, it still gives an apphangb1 error in windows and the game fails to launch. I have tried editing my client_settings file, reinstalled DX 9, and deleted the BitRaider folder. Nothing has worked and now I am starting to get frustrated.

Still having this issue, even after a complete reinstall with administrator rights and everything.

Yes, I had to reinstall Windows 7, as I don't have Windows 10 just yet, however I should be getting Windows 10 sometime this week.

As far as I can tell, yes it is. I was having some trouble earlier with Rising Storm 2: Vietnam, but that issue sorted itself out.

Now as for my BIOS it says it is up to date, yet the manufacture page shows another update from last week, yet my bios EZ flash won't pick up on it. AMD's driver utility also says I am running the most current chipset drivers. So it seems that my drivers shouldn't be the issue.

Figured out the problem, the mb comes with a program that was blocking The Old Republic from fully launching. If anyone else ever has this issue, try turning off the ASUS Sonic 3 sound application, start up your game, then restart the Sonic 3 application.
