Ryzen 5 OC issues

Ryzen 5 1600, Asus ROG Strix B350-F, 8 gigs GSKILL V 2400. Anytime I put the chip over 3.8ghz it is locked at 1.3-1.5ghz windows manager says 1.3ghz max speed 3.95 ghz

With ryzen master the computer can run at 3.95 1.4v stable. I just cant set it in the bios or it doesn't work. I have tried reinstalling windows. Same issue. The other problem is that sometimes ryzen master disables 3 cores. Any work arounds to get bios to work properly with my chip?

When overclocking the ram you should manually input the voltages, timings and frequency. As for the CPU's clock speeds, it's best you use Ryzen's Overclocking app. To add, did you make sure you're on the latest BIOS update on your board?

FYI, you should've looked into DDR4-3200MHz ram kits for your Ryzen build.

The app is terrible though I have to restart my computer every time I turn my computer on by using the app. Also the 2400 ram is what came in the combo. When I can I plan to upgrade the ram.

I read another post about disabling sleep modes and what not but I cant find any of that in this bios other than EPU and that is already disabled. Sigh this is just a big headache.
