Ryzen 5 Q Flash

Is it possible to flash the bios on a Gigabyte x370 Gaming 5 with a ryzen 2600 installed? It has q-flash but i’ve recieved conflicting answers.

It appears you need version F22 or later already installed for the Ryzen 5 2600 to use Q-Flash.

I bought a Gigabyte ab350 mobo and a ryzen 2600, it came with out dated bios and as such i wasn't able to post,I had to pay to get it updated to the latest. The version in question is f23d; however, on this version I was experiencing a lot of BSOD so I decided I would at least go back to f22 which isn't a beta bios. Now I am faced with my initial problem of not posting again. I thought f22 would allow me to boot with my ryzen 2600, what is going on?
