I'm sure you can get a Zen 3 processor on an A320 if you wanted to. I'm convinced "CPU support" for BIOSes is simply looking for the CPUID and having the necessary magic sauce to configure the CPU correctly.

Article says: “We wouldn't advise you to be the beta tester of an alpha BIOS.”

I mean you wouldn’t be...beta testing...an alpha bios. You’d be alpha testing it.

I was wondering how long it would be until someone accomplished this. With the similarity between the chipsets there isnt really a good reason, other than the storage limitations of the bios chips themselves, that they they shouldnt be able to run pretty much every AM4 chip, from Bristol Ridge to Ryzen 5000.

I really want to see a 5950x on A320. Why? Because why not?

VRM's man, those poor little A320 VRM's. Also, you could try what was mentioned if you have a dual bios board, flash one of the bios's to a B450 bios if theres a similar B450 board available and see if it works.
