[SOLVED] Ryzen 5600X and B550 Aorus Elite V2 need help

Hello guys I've recently got my R5 5600X and that new mobo, everything running fine
but my question are I already run my memory at 3600MHZ XMP but I heard that
for Ryzen if you put your memory manualy in the bios you will got a better fps,

I've tried to put 3600MHZ manualy but my mobo already crashed up
and had to do an CMOS, why that happened, cause that 5600X didn't support
3600mhz manualy ?

Shoud I've to put 3200mhz instand manualy ?

Sorry for all of thoses questions, but realy want to figure them out.

I tend to agree: if XMP works setting clock manually shouldn't be necessary.

If you want to set the clock manually you have to be sure to raise voltage and set all the timings too.

Thx for the answers guys, yeah the XMP work perfectly for now,
playing a lot with the XMP profil set at 3600MHZ, no crash or others issues.

Just wanted to know if there are a big diffrence between xmp and not in term of fps.

There can be.

When you set timings manually you can 'tweak' them to find the lowest timings that are stable. That improves memory latency...sometimes quite a bit since MFR's often use very loose timings for their XMP to assure maximum compatibility.

Better latency improves FPS in SOME games if they are memory latency dependent.
