Hello, I was checking my brother pc after updating his bios to the latest for his motherboard which is an aorus elite b550m so it's currently on f13, and I saw during idle that his Temps were around 45c I thought for it to be weird unless this is normal with this current bios and latest chipset software from amd site, he also has the same cooler I do which is a hyper 212 black edition no rgb.

Now I'm wondering if the cooler is actually doing good contact but then again I ran cinebench 23 for 30 min and the max Temps were 71/72 and almost all the time on 71/70 c
Also I have set pbo curve optimizer on a negative of - 25 or 30 (can't remember at the moment) in all the cores.
Any ideas?

It's on balanced power plan that's why I found it odd, I would have assumed 40 or 38c would be the general rule for idle but I guess not
i recently found out balanced forces constant max voltage too, its normal, try power saver. And you should only be concerned if its 85-90+ Celsius while gaming

Normal, but make sure your power plan isnt on ultimate or high performance, that forces constant max ghz.
