Question Ryzen 5700g w/ RX 6600 not achieving optimal fps

I just built my first pc and it is not getting the fps that I saw other people with similar builds are getting.

CPU- AMD Ryzen 7 5700g
GPU- MSI AMD RX 6600 Armour 8G
RAM- XPG D60g rgb 16gb 3600mhz cl18 dual channel (2x8gb) kit
PSU- Aresgame 850watt 80+gold
COOLER- Jonsboro CR1100 rgb dual fan 6pipe cpu radiator cooler

I’ve already tried setting the cpu to 4.55ghz, ram 3600mhz, GPU maxed. I can catch 40fps on warzone medium setting 1080p

You are plugged into the GPU and not the board right? Temps ok?

Yes I have hdmi in the GPU and all my temps look fine I have plenty of airflow as I have 8 fans 5in/3out

Fans don't mean cool temps. Proper air flow and heatsinks that make good contact does.

Are the speeds correct? Ram is running at the rated speeds and timings? I just read/remembered you OC'd everything, what happens at stock settings?

I will run default settings and update.

Fans are set on auto and never reach max speed, and all my temps look to be in what’s a normal range.

CPU is running 28Cel
GPU is running 33Cel
Mobo is running 31Cel

this is stationary no open windows or games

You should be getting much FPS numbers in that game especially on medium settings. Try to do a clean gpu driver install and set the GPU to maximum performance in the software settings.

Thanks I’ll try it out. resetting to defaults helped I got to 60fps on 1080p ultra

Game is limited to 60fps due to screen refresh rate in safe mode. Removing safe mode bumped my fps to 156fps but game crashes?

Safe mode probably restricts things, so that might be way the crash. 60FPS is the limit for Vsync, so make sure that's off in the game and the drivers.
