Hello,

My Ryzen 5900X is scoring way below average on both time spy userbenchmark. 10 970 on timespy which is very bad. Average is around 13-14k
The pc is brand new, and all that is downloaded is time spy + userbenchmark and msi after burner.

The pc was bought pre built.

Any suggestions? I'll post my specs below:

Case: Phanteks P500 air case

Gpu: MSI Geforce 3080 ti

Ryzen 9 5900x

Corsair vengeance pro DDR4 3600Mhz 32GB

MSI MPG B550 gaming plus

Userbench: https://www.userbenchmark.com/UserRun/47053322

Time spy: www.3dmark.com/3dm/67234970?

After downloading the ryzen program and setting it to "auto OC" and setting the power plan to "high preformance" userbench went to "above average as you can see in the link above. And I got another 1k on my time spy score. However, I'm still 2k off the average score. Strange that two different programs rates my cpu in such big differences.

Run userbench website and link us to results please.

Off that bat, is xmp 3600 profile enabled in bios for your ram?

I edited the post with the links for both time spy and userbench. And yes, I did seth the xmp to 3600 in my bios.

Thank you for the reply.

I just tested my old computer with the older CPU that the 5900x replaced + a 2080 s card. The older CPU gave a higher score rather than the 5900x... Also, I tested both computers with the same game on the same spot. The game is called New World, and I'm getting higher framrates on the older pc...

Are you on Windows 11? LTT posted an update saying that the 9th gen Ryzens are reported as underperforming in Win 11, with a Microsoft patch coming this week to fix it. Not sure if this is relevant.
