Hi! I got a ryzen 7 1700 second hand, but it didn't came with a cooler. I searched what cooler the 1700 has, it says it is a wraith spire on the amd official website, i found a ryzen 5 2600 wraith spire, are they the same?

There are two types of Wraith Spire Air coolers.
R7-1700 came with Wraith Spire (RGB version).
R5- 2600 comes with Wraith Stealth (none LED)

If you intend Overclocking then none of them are adequate and only suitable for base clock Frequency.

A non led wraith spire will work. However, the Ryzen 5 2600 did not come with a wraith spire, it came with a wraith stealth, which is not rated for 95w CPUs and will struggle to keep a 1700 cool.

I'd honestly just recommend buying a 120mm tower cooler like this for example.https://pcpartpicker.com/product/kjdrxr/deepcool-gammaxx-400-v2-645-cfm-cpu-cooler-dp-mch4-gmx400v2-rd
